Description
The Kambako Living Museum is located just outside the Malilangwe Reserve surrounding Singita Pamushana and celebrates Shangaan culture in an interactive and immersive way. The Living Museum is aimed at teaching the youth traditional bush skills and knowledge, and is a popular excursion for visitors. The Shangaan were hunter-gatherers and their traditional way of life is demonstrated in an interactive way in this outdoor museum. Activities include water-divining, smelting and forging iron, basketry, making fire, identifying tubers and roots, as well as cooking and traditional song and dance.
